We had our gathering of little girls yesterday for the "fashion show and dress giveaway". The majority of time was spent eating and playing, with a brief intermission for dressing and modeling the dresses. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed the brilliant mothers as they skillfully dealt with minor tensions that came up... all while they socializied with their women friends. The whole affair was quite smooth and harmonious... not to mention adorable!
Here we are gathered in the playroom waiting for everyone to arrive:

Time to get ready for the fashion show!

The children lined up in their dresses and they were all quite shy, except for this one!

For some, the highlight of the day was this friendly little lizard. Look how gentle their hands are:

I loved giving away dresses as an excuse to get together with some of my favorite people. I think everyone went away with some good memories.

oh my oh my, cute just is not a good enough word. Those little dresses just came to life...absolutely adorable!!! Oh what a precious day. One I doubt any of them will forget. My favorite part is watching the girls look at themselves in the mirror...especially the one in that dark blue dress.
I wish the video were longer.

We were actually missing two girls. I'm having them over next week to have their fashion show. They are only 18 mos and one year old, so it will be a very short, maybe even non-existant, fashion show! But, I will post some pics of them anyway.
