Here is the photo from the front as we entertained on the breakfast cruise in Big Bear. It took a while to get used to the rocking of the boat, but we all managed to stay upright during our set. Ollie was fascinated by the drummer, George, (hired especially for this gig) sitting behind me and the little guy ended up taking quite a shine to him. Ollie even cried when we all said goodbye to George at the end of the weekend. (Notice the giant paddle through the window behind us.) Sorry for the blurry picture, but I just liked the feel of it. It's an action shot, after all!

And later that night we played at The Cave, a beautiful venue in town with a great stage, wonderful sound, and a large, comfortable theater. That was the highlight of the weekend, as far as gigs went. It was a true concert: everyone in the audience was there just to hear us play, and that is the best kind of fun, whether you're a band or you're putting on a play. An enthusiastic audience makes it all worthwhile.

Such happy times. And Ollie is growing up surrounded by music just like his Dad and uncles.
