06:19 pm - A Message for all my Wonderful Mamas
If I should suddenly die, I want to make sure to get this word out ahead of time! The best way to honor me, the best way to remember me, is to carry on the torch:
Moms, do your best to have a natural birth, breastfeed your babies, and follow attachment parenting principles. They are the best parenting practises I know of. Encourage and help others to have natural births. (Become a Bradley teacher or a midwife!) Promote homeschooling. Learn the deep practise of Waldorf in the home if you want a rich childhood experience for your child and maximum enjoyment for you as a parent. Create a home worth coming home to. Work at being able to declare yourself happily married! It's very, very important work. Experience and appreciate the joys of homemaking. Feel the privilege of serving others for their greater good. Don't fall into the common trap of self-centered thinking. It's NOT all about you! Revel in your femininity and understand its powerful role. Appreciate and honor your husband's masculinity and its vital, indispensible role. Work diligently on self-improvement and deeper awareness. Focus on the higher things in life. Remember, you are responsible for your own happiness. Life just keeps getting better for those who persevere with all this.
These are things I've learned in my life. I've been attempting to pass them on. I hope I've succeeded. My intention is to continue inspiring new moms to get started with these practises until the day I die.
After that, it's up to you. Make me proud, mamas!
