Science Lab - Livin' the Good Life

10:00 am - Science Lab
I was never particularly interested in science when I was required to take it in school. Like math, it seemed so lifeless to me and mostly non-applicable. I loved the juicy stuff, like reading and writing. But, in recent years, I've come to view my body as a "science lab" in which I do "experiments". This subject is anything but dull and lifeless, because it IS applicable. My body is alive and growing and changing and nothing short of miraculous. It's mysterious. It's fascinating. It seems to be affected by so many things, and I haven't figured out what they all are yet.
I look forward to posting results of my experiments here in "Darlene's Hospital" as time goes on. I'll post things like, what makes my body stiff? What makes it ache? What makes it too cold? What makes it warm up? What makes it feel free and easy and full of energy? And the big question: what makes me feel like a million bucks? (I'm most interested in that one!)
I'm taking pretty meticulous notes on my experiments, and I expect it will be a while before I reach any conclusions. But, I'm finding the whole process very enjoyable, and I'm in no hurry. I've got my whole lifetime.
