09:25 pm - Continuing...... My Adventure at the Earthing Store

At the Earthing Store I met some really nice and helpful people who suggested I take a nap in their bed with this special sheet on the mattress that is "grounded". The sheet is hooked to the round grounding hole in the three-holed electrical wall socket. The store has two "napping rooms" that are very comfy and attractive. She asked me to lay down, hooked me up, sticking little electrode pads on places I said were hurting on the bottom of my feet, tucked me in with a special "grounding blanket", turned down the lights, and left me to sleep for as long as I wished. I certainly had no intention of taking a nap when I went in there, so, I resisted a bit. I kept thinking of all the things I needed to be doing while I was in town. Then I finally let go and just relaxed. I think I dozed for a while because I ended up being in the store a lot longer than I thought I was. I remember feeling nice and warm and comfortable in that cozy bed. When I got up she showed me the products that they sell without giving me an ounce of pressure to buy anything. She gave me a free book, EARTHING, the story of how this guy discovered the importance of being grounded to the earth and how we basically are NOT grounded at any time in this day and age. The only time we get the benefit of the earth's natural electrical system is if we have our bare skin on the earth; walking barefoot on the sand, grass, or cement... not asphalt, wood floors, linoleum, or rugs. Our footwear is all made of plastic or rubber...all manmade materials now, so we are completely insulated from the earth's energy by our shoes. Our beds are all synthetic and are sitting on synthetic floors. No grounding at all in our houses. The author says if we walked barefoot on dirt all day and slept on the ground at night, we would be grounded 24/7. But, since we don't, we need to find ways to work with what we have. The store owner sent me home with some things to try. I ended up buying a few things a couple of days later. The jury is out. But, here's what I expect: I expect to have my circulation improved so I don't have that horrible chilly feeling in my legs at night. (No matter how many blankets I put on, I don't get warm.) And I would LIKE to have general inflammation reduced in my body. That is more subjective, but supposedly "grounding" knocks out inflammation. We'll see. Any improvements will have me thrilled. I will keep my readers posted on what happens.
So, back to the lump on the roof of my mouth. I suspect it is inflammation-caused. So, this "grounding project" is an effort to address my mouth problem, as well as other issues.

... More on those issues in my next post where I will go over my latest health regime, like I originally promised.

I'd never heard of this. Are these grounding stores hard to find? I assume so. Well do keep us posted. I'm very interested if you will be seeing progress, especially with your mouth and your cold legs.

I don't know if they are hard to find. I know there's one in Yucca Valley and somewhere in the "low desert" like Palm Springs or Palm Desert. You could see if Fresno has one. This one is actually called The Earthing Sleep and Wellness Center.
I'll keep you posted on any improvements to my health.
