12:47 am - A Five Year Old's Prediction
The first time I remember being asked what I wanted to do when I grew up, I was around five. I asserted that I wanted to marry a farmer and have a lot of kids. I got the last part right. Though Steve definitely has a latent green thumb, he more often than not has used his hands for taking pictures and playing music. At five, I doubt I had even heard of a daddy making a living as a photographer or a musician, even though my own dad had, indeed, been a photographer before he met my mom. And my mother's father had been a drummer on the side long before I came on the scene. Had his own band, even. "The Russ Morris Aces". I guess marrying Steve wasn't so far-fetched after all!
